Handmade from colorful recycled newspaper comic strips, these one-of-a-kind cufflinks give the familiar Sunday comics an entirely new life.

At the center of each cufflink is the face of a comic-strip character, surrounded by a dimensional border of tiny handmade beads created from colorful fragments of the comics. Bits of red, blue, yellow, green, purple and black create a playful frame around the central image, turning something once printed to be read and discarded into a miniature work of art.

Because every cufflink is created from actual recycled newspaper pages, each one is unique. The characters, colors and printed details will vary, making every pair an individual composition. No two pairs will ever be exactly alike.

Measuring approximately 1" in diameter, the cufflinks make a distinctive statement while remaining easy to wear. Gold-plated base metal clasps provide a warm contrast to the colorful newspaper and complete the design.
