Holly here, and my journey with newspaper as a jewelry medium began in 1990 during my metalsmithing class at The University of Michigan. We had an assignment to create a piece of jewelry which did not consist of metal or any other traditional materials. With nothing but a creative vision and a stack of Sunday newspaper comic sections, I hoped to break the mold and redefine what jewelry could be. My designs range from intricately crafted earrings to stunning brooches and necklaces, all made from newspaper, expired coupons and even dollar bills. Each piece embodies a unique story, inviting you to embrace the beauty of sustainable fashion in your accessories.
